Vitamin D helps with inflammation & can also have positive psychological effects. Most people get Vitamin D from food & also from being out in the sun. Some people have seen a reduction in IBS symptoms after starting high dosage Vitamin D. Vitamin D is sold in “IU” dosages, the IU is the number that follows “Vitamin D” on the label. You’ll usually  see Vitamin D sold as Vitamin D 400 or Vitamin D 1000, you may also see it advertised as Vitamin D3, it’s the same thing. You could go up to as high as 5000 IU per day. I would start at around 1000 – 2000 & see how it goes from there.

Vitamin D is available online or at your local supermarket or vitamin store.
